Group to Challenge Exelon Nuclear Power Plant in Victoria, Texas
VICTORIA, TX – A group has formed to challenge the siting of a nuclear power plant 12 miles from Victoria, Texas. Called „Texans for a Sound Energy Policy Alliance‟ (TSEPA), “the organization‟s mission is to support a Texas energy supply policy that is reasonable, sustainable and is environmentally sound,” said TSEPA director John Figer. The organization will office in downtown Victoria and become the headquarters for individuals and groups with concerns and questions about the proposed nuclear power plant.
